1979 Beechcraft Skipper

In the 1970s, general aviation flourished, and each of the major manufacturers like Cessna, Piper, and Beechcraft entered the market with a two-seater training aircraft that embodied their unique styles. Piper had the Tomahawk, and Cessna the 150, while Beech made a grand entrance with the BE-77 Skipper. This California-based 1979 model has remained relatively unchanged since those days, although it now has a SkyBeacon for ADS-B compliance. It has 2,370 hours on the airframe and 250 hours since its major overhaul in June 2023, along with a completed annual inspection. We’ve rated it a fair deal in our PlanePrice beta test at $69,500.
